Thread: How to make your server Online (Non Hamachi)

To Host this Repack online Guide. ( or any other )

Step 1:
Open Arcemu\Configs
Open Logon.conf and Realms.conf with notepad
Edit where "127.0.0.1" to "YOUR EXTERNAL IP"
to find your external ip go here >> [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

Step 2:
Creating a Dyndns host..
go to >> [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
Create and account, log in
Click on "My services" then "host services"
Click on "Add new hostname"
input your chosen hostname (yourserver.dyndns.org) example
Service type = "Hostname with IP"
Use the autodetect tool for your IP adress

Click on "Add to cart"
Click on "Next"
Click on "activate service"


Step 3:

Navigate to >> C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc
Open "hosts" with notepad

Add this in

127.0.0.1 localhost
YOUREXTERNALIP Yourservername.dyndns.org


(where "Yourexternalip" input the IP you got from step 1)
(where "yourservername" input the host you created in step 2)

Save it

Step 4:

Port forwarding..
Forwarding ports is difrent for every hub/router
Go to this site >> [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

Find your hub/router in the list and follow the guide on how to port forward..

Forward the ports used in your configs (Arcemu\Configs\) .conf files

Now set your realmlist to your created Dyndns hostname
and log in .. check to make sure all is working as intended then give out the hostname to players wishing to join your server.


NOTE* if you reset your hub/router your External ip changes, eitha use the autoupdating tool from Dyndns to keep your server updated.. or follow the above steps after a router reboot or nobody will be able to connect
